About Project

MEECO Technologies Inc. recently completed the replacement of a rooftop HVAC unit (RTU) at a commercial facility in Brampton, Ontario.

The project involved the removal of the existing rooftop unit and the installation of a new high-efficiency system designed to improve heating, cooling, and overall energy performance for the building.

The Scope of Work

The project required careful planning and coordination to ensure the replacement was completed safely and efficiently while minimizing disruption to the client’s operations. Our team managed all aspects of the installation process, including rooftop access, equipment handling, crane coordination, and system integration with the building’s existing mechanical infrastructure.

Through strong teamwork and technical expertise, the project was completed on schedule and to the highest standards of workmanship. Safety remained a primary focus throughout every stage of the project.

The MEECO Technologies Inc. team adhered strictly to all applicable health and safety regulations, industry standards, and site-specific safety requirements. By maintaining a safe and organized work environment, the installation was completed successfully while ensuring the safety of workers, occupants, and surrounding areas.

Why Choose MEECO?

This RTU replacement project reflects MEECO Technologies Inc.’s commitment to delivering reliable commercial HVAC solutions across Ontario.

By combining quality workmanship, professional service, and a strong focus on efficiency and safety, we continue to provide clients with dependable mechanical systems that support long-term operational performance.

Our Approach And Solution

The $4 million project was successfully completed in two separate phases with both phases coming in on schedule and the overall costs coming in under budget. Emergency repairs to the facility were completed on December 11th, 2014 which allowed for the facility to operate through the critical winter months. Permanent electrical repairs along with less critical site deficiencies were completed in April and May of 2016 when a longer facility shut-down could be tolerated. In order to meet the required schedule, TransGas delegated procurement and construction management services to WSP.
