About Project
MEECO Technologies Inc. completed mechanical work within the mechanical room of the Mold-Masters SportsPlex for the Town of Halton Hills.
This project involved servicing and upgrading key mechanical system components to support the facility’s heating and operational performance, ensuring reliable comfort and efficiency for the community recreation centre.
The Scope of Work
The scope of work required careful coordination and technical expertise due to the complexity of working within an active municipal facility. Our team worked diligently to complete the project efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily operations and public use of the SportsPlex.
From equipment servicing and system modifications to inspections and testing, every stage of the project was carried out with professionalism, precision, and strong attention to detail.
Safety and compliance were maintained as top priorities throughout the project. The MEECO Technologies Inc. team adhered strictly to all applicable health and safety regulations, municipal standards, and site-specific safety procedures. By maintaining a safe and organized work environment, the project was completed successfully and in accordance with the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

Our Approach And Solution
The $4 million project was successfully completed in two separate phases with both phases coming in on schedule and the overall costs coming in under budget. Emergency repairs to the facility were completed on December 11th, 2014 which allowed for the facility to operate through the critical winter months. Permanent electrical repairs along with less critical site deficiencies were completed in April and May of 2016 when a longer facility shut-down could be tolerated. In order to meet the required schedule, TransGas delegated procurement and construction management services to WSP.
