About Project
MEECO Technologies Inc. successfully completed the replacement of four rooftop HVAC units at a commercial facility in Windsor, Ontario.
This project involved the removal of aging equipment and the installation of new high-efficiency rooftop units designed to improve system reliability, energy performance, and overall indoor comfort for the building.
The Scope of Work
The project required detailed planning and coordination to ensure the installation process was completed safely and efficiently. Our team managed all aspects of the work, including rooftop access, crane coordination, equipment placement, and system integration with the existing building infrastructure.
Through strong teamwork, technical expertise, and careful project management, the installation of all four RTUs was completed on schedule and to the highest standards of quality.
Safety remained a key priority throughout every phase of the project. The MEECO Technologies Inc. team adhered strictly to all applicable health and safety regulations, industry standards, and site-specific safety procedures.
Special attention was given to rooftop operations, equipment handling, and maintaining a safe working environment for both workers and building occupants during the replacement process.

Our Approach And Solution
The $4 million project was successfully completed in two separate phases with both phases coming in on schedule and the overall costs coming in under budget. Emergency repairs to the facility were completed on December 11th, 2014 which allowed for the facility to operate through the critical winter months. Permanent electrical repairs along with less critical site deficiencies were completed in April and May of 2016 when a longer facility shut-down could be tolerated. In order to meet the required schedule, TransGas delegated procurement and construction management services to WSP.
